Michael: Being Italian, you know my parents were always very supportive. There probably was a turbulent year when I came out. From my mom but not from my dad.
Tara: Interesting.
Michael: But you know she got over it and again, you know we didn’t give her much of a choice. It was sort of these are your choices, you know, one’s really bad and one’s really good so you know you choose. And it was the same for having a family. I didn’t necessarily, you know plan on having a child at 21 but that’s the way it worked right. And so they were thrilled and have been amazing for 20 years, very lucky.
