Jess: So we have two children who live at home. Uh, one’s seven and his name’s Fred, Fredric, and he goes to Pineway Public School, um and he’s in the autism program. And we have a daughter and her name is Nora and she goes to a First Nations school.
Tara: Okay.
Jess: And, um, Liam is our other half, um he, or…
Evan: Other third…
Jess: Other third. (General laughter). Yah.
Evan: Yah. I also have a twenty-one-year-old who, uh, I mean did school in the TDSB, so…
Tara: Okay great. So you have a range of experience over, uh, like maybe a decade and a half.
Evan: Yah
Jess: Um, I prefer the term queer just because I’m not really a fan of the term lesbian. Um, so I identify as queer. I identify as two-spirit. Uh, and my pronouns are, really any pronouns, but I tend to use “she” just for the purpose of being easy. Yup.
Evan: I identify as queer, trans, genderqueer and two-spirit, and use any pronouns.
