school climate, school forms, gender neutral bathrooms, allies, acceptance, support, openness, peers
Chantale: And I think that's what's so nice within her school. They see the acceptance and the support within the staff like doing things like the name change on the documents as well as um providing gender neutral bathrooms.
Tara: Right.
Chantale: I mean at the start they only had, her school, her high school has four floors.
Tara: Right.
Chantale: And when they started they only had the gender neutral bathroom on the first floor.
Tara: Right.
Chantale: And now it's on every floor.
Tara: That's great.
Chantale: And what's nice is that the allies are using it as well.
Dan: So it's not a weird thing it's not a...
Chantale: Yeah.
Dan: Kind of segregation thing?
Chantale: That's right. It's just showing the openness and the acceptance and the support like the staff member who put the name change.
Tara: Right.
Chantale: Those staff members are also using these washrooms and showing that openness and acceptance so all the students see it too. And that's something that Dan has always told me but she felt support at her school from staff but also from her peers.
