Max: I then took it upon myself to join the school council.
Tara: Okay, why was that?
Max: Uh, because…
Ryan: Vice President! He’s running it.
Tara: Woah!
Max: It was … I was more like not "volun-told" - I volunteered because the other person who is on the council is actually pregnant and will eventually will require some time away. And well, okay. So we’re - its a co-presidency. Anyway, I wanted to do that because, I wanted to, make sure that they saw that I’m a normal parent. And that I have just the same issues and concerns about the same amount of interest in the betterment of the children in the school… the body and everybody and I'm not here just for my child, it's about the betterment for everyone around and everybody that gets to interact with our kids. And they were so kind to me and our family. And I was like well, in whatever way I can help and give back, I'm gonna help and give back. I volunteered, and it’s really been really fun because I’m learning about how things work and how things work and how things operate, and helping with fundraising which is something I like to do. And so, I figured, get in there, and face time with people, and it just makes it less - less scary.
