Catherine: The thing is that I’m really bothered by is that there’s this expectation, well, did you do the protocol that’s usually done by parents: going to the principal, then that doesn’t happen, the going to the superintendent… That’s all assuming that we have the time and the energy to be able to do this. Um and - and assuming that those people actually care. Um, but the way that people are asking for evidence that things are happening. You’re asking kids to come up with evidence. This is not like you know, like we’re not dealing with criminals. We’re dealing with little kids that it’s all obviously hearsay, but we have to be able to hear their testimony in a particular way that allows them to feel safe.
