Tara: Tell us about your family.
Catherine: Well, our family is a blended queer family.
Tara: Right.
Catherine: Uh, we have a thirteen-year-old daughter and there’s us two who are monogamous partners, and we’re married.
Tara: And you’re married, great. And how long have you, um, been a family?
Nazbah: Two years?
Catherine: Two years, yeah. About two years, yah.
Austen: I like to have words that people use to describe themselves to just give a little introduction to the videos. Um, so would you be able to share words that you would use to describe yourself?
Catherine: I would say brown, storyteller, mother, partner.
Nazbah: Uh, I’m Dene, so that’s my tribe. Uh, poet, um, partner and new parent. New co-parent.
