Transcript

Ryan: Our actual family is pretty queer. Meaning most of our...

Max: We are queerdos.

Ryan: …very few of our family members that are heterosexual. I mean we’ve got aunts …I’ve got, my brother, my kids have a gay uncle, and a gay aunt, and Tay is lesbian. And you know

Max: So we're just a big ol' rainbow family, it's great.

Ryan: You know, we’ve got friends and family that are part of the community. So they see this stuff everywhere. Whereas I guess, when we were growing up we saw it, it was there. But it was always a minority. Whereas now, it goes to being the majority of the people they meet are queer in some fashion or some sense, they are on the spectrum somewhere - part of the community, and that’s the kind of their everyday experience now. We go to community events, a lot of times. There’s LGBTQ events, or there’s community part of a regular community event. It’s not so foreign anymore.
